Lower back pain....

Hi,
I am about 4 weeks pregnant...no morning sickness yet. This is my second pregnancy. Today I've noticed a constant pain in my lower back. I did some surfing and it says this is normal.....but wanted to hear from some others if they'd experienced this?
It's constant and if I bend down it is worse......
Would appreciate some advice....
Thanks, Caroline

Re: Lower back pain....

As long as it isn't accompanied with bleeding and/or severe cramping, it should be ok.

I had backache when I was pregnant with my son. I am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant with my second child and feel a "pinch" every now and then.

Re: Lower back pain....

This was my one and only sign of pregnancy both times (I am pregnant with my second.) I know people say you can't have pregnancy symptoms very early but I swear from the day after I ovulated with DD #1 I had constant lower back pain throughout my BFP and probably at least the first trimester. So I think everyone is different. It always reminded me of what my back would feel like when AF was getting ready to start. Good luck and I hope your back starts to feel better!

Re: Lower back pain....

i had a lot of back pain before i got my bfp (probably at around 4-5 weeks). i had it so bad for a couple of days i couldn't get comfortable whether i was sitting or lying down. i still have it, it's not as bad but now i have cramping on & off, so it's like it moved to the front!
