Has time slowed down?????

In the beginning of my pregnancy i can remember getting to 12 weeks so fast and then it seemed like it took forever to get to 16 then from 17 to 30 the time flew by soooo fast. Now im sitting here wondering why does it feel like time has slowed down i mean it seems like ive been 35 weeks for more than just a few days. I'll be 36 weeks this friday and it just doesnt seem like time wants to move as fast as it did in the beginning. Anyone else feeling this way?

Re: Has time slowed down?????

i was just thinking about this. it used to seem like the weeks would fly by now its feels like im in the same week for a month. i just turned 34 wks yesterday and it seems like forever after just one day. im hoping i will go into labor at 35-36 wks. the dr said with my progress and the weight that ive gained it would be perfectly ok if i did so im praying there is only a couple more weeks of this.

It must be cause we're so uncomfortable and the anticipation is killing us even more. I too will be 36 weeks on Friday and it feels like I've been 35 weeks for a month! I'm over it....I just want to get this baby out!!!!!

Re: Has time slowed down?????

It's the anticipation of the upcoming events that cause time to go so slow... when you were in your first trimester everything was new and there were lots of tests to keep you busy. In your second trimester, you had the level 2 u/s to look forward to and then nothing for awhile... then in your third, all you have are weekly visits to keep you going, especially if you've already had a baby shower and have the nursery all ready.

For me, at 11 weeks, time seems to be moving slowly this time around. Maybe it's because I had a previous miscarriage, so I'm anxious to get out of the first trimester...

Re: Has time slowed down?????

Yes, for me the last month went sooo slow. I went one week early w/ my first son, so we were all hoping the same w/ my second. He was not in such a hurry, and was born 3 days after the due date. I was so ready by then!

But now that he is here, 5 weeks old, the time just flies by! Never enough hours in the day to get everything done.
