anyone had an amnio...especially this late in pregnancy?
I am due to have an amnio tomorrow to see if my baby's lungs are well developed enough to have my c-setion on Wednesday. I am super nervous and wondering if anyone else has had this done. Any problems? The doctor said the biggest risk is that it can throw me into labor. How painful is it??

I have never experienced this but from what i read it doesn't hurt and if so only like a needle. just a little poke.
