Unhappy Glucose Screening Test Result - High

I need some help. Currently, I am 26 weeks pregnant. I had my glucose test done this week and I got call from my OB-Gyne offie and she said that the result was high. Does this mean that I am diabetic? My doctor wants me to do another testing next week. This is my first pregnancy and don't know about this thing. What will I do? I'm worried. Your opinion on this is really much appreciated.

Re: Glucose Screening Test Result - High

do not worry apt 75, mine was high ( 5 points ), I had to go for the 3 hours test and it came back normal....some people have their blood sugar high during pregnancy but usually goes away after delivering ...I am sure you will do fine on the next test so just relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Re: Glucose Screening Test Result - High

a lot of people fail the one hour. i happened to fail both and now i have gestational diabetes. im on a special meal plan and insulin. if you do have it as long as you do what needs to be done to control it the baby should be just fine. 99% of the time it goes away after delivery
