hiya! well i work it out to be that im due the 17th of may, just wondering if there is any more may mommies! DH's birthday is on the 21st of may so this may be a nice birthday suprise for him lol

I had a blood test on thursday to confirm and an US yesterday morning. At first the tech couldn't see well enough on the external US so she had to do the internal. Right now I'm bleeding and freaked right out of my skin but the doctor said to wait and see what happens.
Hi Ladies... I am also really nervous to post but I got a BFP this morning. I have been spotting often so I thought that AF was on her way. TMI info alert: DH and I BD'd last night and this morning I had some really dark brown almost black when I wiped. It seemed strange so I had to POAS and clear as day said "Pregnant". I am still in complete shock!
I am looking forward to sharing this exciting time with all of you ladies (and hopefully some more!)
I went to the ER yesterday and the dr didn't seem to be very concerned that I was bleeding. Based on an ultrasound he felt that it was a blood vessel that ruptured while the baby was trying to attach itself. It's amazing what a pregnancy and vaginal bleeding can do to your wait time in the ER! I was there and back within 2 hours!
Thanks SB! I am glad to hear that ER doctor wasn't too worried. I made my first appointment with the doctor for Friday 9/26!! I can't wait. Somehow I feel like I need that to confirm that it is real.
So far, this pregnancy hasn't been like my last. I did not have any bleeding with my DS. I remember having pretty sore boobs but with this one I clearly had bright pink implantation bleeding exactly a week from O!

Hi all! Just got my BFP and it's still very early so I'm kind of nervous, but I've worked out my due date to be May 27th. I went early with my DS so I would imagine that I'll go early with this one as well. My DS is 11 months old and I just recently had a miscarriage in June. This was my first cycle TTC again, so I'm pretty surprised that it happened so quickly. Oddly enough, I've been nauseous with other pregnancy symptoms since 2 dpo. I know that that's impossible, but go figure! Got my first BFP yesterday at 11 dpo and the line was even darker this morning when I tested again, so I guess that it's true!
It looks as if I am also a May 09 mommy-to-be. I've gotten my BFP with a few different tests, so it looks as if it's true. If my calculations are correct I should be due on May 18th 2009.
I'm incredibly nervous as this is a suprise for DH & I. I already have a beautiful daughter who is 14 months old. I look forward to spending time with you ladies during this incredible journey!

Thanks LauraLu. I was in shock when I found out...it's been almost a week now since I had a positive test, still haven't been able to get ahold of my dr. to make an appointment (we had SERIOUS power outages due to winds and rains and remanets of Hurricane Ike).
I'm thinking because of all the issues we've had around here lately I won't be able to get a dr. appointment for 2 weeks (maybe more)...I don't want to wait that long to start taking prenatals. I'm 5w1d Is anybody taking the prenatals you can buy at the store? I was goign to pick up some at the store and take those until I can get a rx from my doc.
Youneeak, my doctor won't even see me until I'm 8 or 9 weeks along so I'm just taking over-the-counter prenatals from Target. I asked my doctor and they told me that they are exactly the same as the prescribed ones.
LEJ- thank you for the reply. I am going to stop at the grocery on my way to work tomorrow to buy some. I will be about 8 weeks along when I finally get in (although I have a really bad sore throat right now, I fear it may be the startings of strept) so I may get in earlier just because of that.

I bought CVS brand prenatals that also included a bottle of DHA supplements. I haven't gone to my doc yet, but if they say it is the same I am not even going to get a prescription! My insurance did not cover any of it last time and they were quite pricey.
So... what kind of symptoms are you girls having? I really don't have many. Still some slight cramping and gassiness. I do get tired but having a 13 month DS I really can't allow myself to give into it.
