Hey everyone just got a call from my Dr I had the blood test to check for Down syndrome and neural (sp?) defects done at last appt and all came back normal! I was happy about that! Thats the only testing we will be having done! I know there are so many other things to test for but I just didnt see the point i only did that becasue it was a blood draw. Is anyone else having any other testing done? I cant wait for Feb 9th to get here for my big u/s!!! on these 12 days will kill me.. worse than the 2ww in a way!! AHHH so whats new with everyone? How much have you gained?? still sick?? anyone registered for anything yet?? when are the big U/S for you guys??? Im getting more excited everyday!
oh ps just felt baby move when i sent that!! just sharing my happiness! I love feeling my little one move around any one else feeling movement.. omg its going crazy i feel it moving a lot.. Just drank a lot of OJ maybe that has something to do with it!!
Awww, I love the feeling of the baby moving Congrats! I'm about 14 weeks right now, I still have a few more weeks for movement but I started feeling my last 2 kids around 17 weeks, so less than a month away...
We will probably have our ultrasound in about 5 weeks to determine the sex! We will set the date on my next Dr appointment, the 3rd of February.
aww. congrats! i think i feel the baby move but im not sure.. i have 1 kid already, but i dont remember wat it feels like cuz it was about 6 yrs ago. haha... i have my 16wk appt on the 4th (i will be 16wk 4days)... that day they will make the appt for the big u/s. he said around 18wks.. so about 2 more weeks yay! haha.. i had to finally break down n put my maternity clothes on lol. my daughter is soo excited! evernight before bed she rubs my belly,kisses it, then says i love you to the baby. she wants it to be a boy!well i hope everyone is doing well!

Hi everyone... I'm due July 25th.
I have a question for anyone who knows anything about this. I just had my first trimester screening. The ultrasound looked good (NT measured 1.4), s/b less than 3 and the baby was moving. My outlook for downs was 1/62 orig (because I'm 41) and after the screening & bloodtest it only went to 1/73. My HCG was high, 1.5, norm is 1 and my PAPP-A was low, .35, norm is 1. The U/S and bloodtest results seem conflicting, but my doctors can't tell me anything except if I want a definite answer I need to go for an amnio. Everything you read on the net about low PAPP-A is bad. Has anyone had a low PAPP-A level and still had a baby w/no birth defects?
shmoo32- Sorry I am a FTM and i dont know what that is, sorry! I hope everything turns out ok! I will pray for you and your baby! I think it is one of those things if it will make a difference then you should get tested if not then dont. My mom had an amnio with my brother becasue my stepdads sister was born with Downs syndrome, after they did it they found out he was fine and she was stressed for nothing but did find a mutated chromosone that had never been seen before in my stepdad and my little brother.. they drew a lot of blood and asked if they had permission to do testing to see with this strand was.
I go for my BIG ultrasound on MONDAY!!!! I cant wait!

Had my 16 week Ob appt ( i was actually 16wks 4 days) yesterday. they did the second part of the sequential screening. Everything is great! The heartbeat is strong. The baby started kicking the doppler when the dr pressed on my stomach. haha.. They are scheduling my BIG u/s within the next 2 weeks. I am so excited! I cant waittt!!!!!! The fundal height is right on target. My doctor only wants me to gain 25 lbs. So I only have like 12 or so more lbs that i can gain. haha. My belly is deff gettin bigger. Had to start wearing maternity clothes about 2 weeks ago. .. ive been really itchy so ive been using cocoa butter and it helps!! no new stretch marks (yet!). anyways, hope everyone elses pregnancy is going great!!!!

lol, that's great news, my big ultrasound is on the 23rd too!
I am torn about finding out, sometimes I want to know, and then I remember the pain etc of delivery and having a wonderful surprise. I guess I'll wait until the 23rd to decide!
i know what u mean.. i want to wait but my 5 yr old is begging me to find out.. haha.. she wants to b able to tell everyone at school.. make sure u keep us udpdated and let us kno if u find out!!

We had our big ultrasound yesterday and the LO was moving around so much!! Hard to see anything it was moving so much! The tech said that were having a boy but couldn't get a picture of it he said it passed by he saw it was a boy then baby turned around again! Just a little pep show ha ha!! So were having a BOY!!!! How is everyone doing?
Hi Everyone, I just had my level II ultrasound on the 13th. They could not find any abnormalities (thank God), but they still couldn't figure out why I had the odd blood test levels. I wanted to get the amnio (even though I was still scared to do it), but my husband told me he was fine with just the U/S results so we decided against it. We also found out that we are having a girl! I'm still a little nervous, but do feel better about the results.

hey hb. i am due on july 18th.. this wednesday i find out if its a boy or girl.. im 5months pregnant this saturday. congrats all of you.. many blessings to all of you ladies..
How is everyone doing? My appointment on Monday went well, except for the ultrasound clinic being 40minutes behind schedule! But seeing the ultrasound was well worth it! Both my husband and me think that we are pretty sure that we saw a little tripod on the screen when the tech took the feet measurements. Looks like I'm having a boy too! That's crazy that there are so many boys for the July mommies! My blood pressures been up and down, and I have a small trace amount of protein in my urine. So, I have to monitor and keep a record of my blood pressure. It's scary cause I know what the outcome is right now if things escalated, but I try not to think about it, happy thoughts only!
oooh, the other bonus at my appointment was that I haven't gained any weight yet. I started a little heavy so I'm hoping not to gain alot of weight. I gained almost 40 pounds with my daughter, and kept 10 of it. One week after having her, I was down 30 pounds, so I haven't lost anything from my first pregnancy.

Well, I had my amnio done on 2/24, wasn't fun! But I saw a little girl in there, so this will be baby girl #3 for us! I'm so glad to hear everyone has been doing well. I started feeling her move around 16 weeks actually, I was really surprised to feel her move so early. We should have the amnio results in the next couple of days.
