Hubby and I had sex this morning and we were alarmed to discover that I am spotting blood. Ive never had that happen before. Im 7 months pregnant now. The spotting pretty much stopped, but ugh Im so crampy. Its not that bad though so Im not freaking out about it,but hubby kind of is. lol. He is a worrywart. I think this is probably normal. What do you think?
You should probably avoid sex until you talk to your ob. It's probably nothing but still.... This may be TMI, but what position where you in? Sometimes certain positions will allow him to penetrate farther in and that can cause some spotting. I've never spotted(knock wood)but one of my sisters did and it turned out to be nothing, but she and her dh had to be very careful when having sex.
lol I wont get specific, but we were using positions we usually dont becuase of the whole belly-in-the-way thing. I just dont want to end up putting myself into labor like that.
I would definately ask your ob about it. It's probably nothing, but I think in the last trimester they say to be careful. And the cramping should definately be addressed as well.
Just out of curiosity, do you enjoy sex now? I don't even want to have sex and I'm just now showing. I feel sorry for my husband, but he's made no effort to come to me anyway. I guess he knows how I feel. I think we had sex last about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I wish I got the urge that so many pregnant women supposedly get. I didn't when I was pregnant with my daughter either.

I've had spotting before when my husband is...ummmm...uhh....behind. I was told it's because the cervix is super sensitive and anything irritating it can cause spotting. But I didn't have it in the 3rd trimester (haven't been that far yet!). I'd call your doc for sure. Please keep us posted, sweetie!
Yes, I do enjoy sex still! I think more now than ever. Plus, I feel bad that hubby has to wait all those weeks after I have the baby, so we are trying to get it all out of our systems. I do go up and down hormonally it seems, so sometimes I dont want to , but right now I want to all the time. Hubby claims he's died and gone to heaven. Take care!

In a book I was reading they said some preg. women want sex less and some want it more. It just depends on how your body reacts to the hormones. My last preg. I would have bitten my hubby's hand off if he had TRIED to touch me..this time I am jumping on him all the time(when I'm not sick). I think it is a misconceeption that preg. women want sex all the time. Some do but then there is the other group who hardly ever want it...though there are rarely any in between. As for hillary..I did bleed after sex several times in my last trimester..it didn't matter what position..I cramped badly too. After 2 or 3 times my doc said no sex until after my 6 week check up AFTER the baby was born. So, I think you really need to see the doc and see what advice he/she may have.(I don't know if your doc is male or female!)
