Bigger lower left side of abdomen

Hey Ladies and any gentlemen!
I am 9 weeks and 4 days along today and yesterday i looked down at my lower abdomen and I noticed that the left side of my lower abdomen is larger than the right. I have never noticed it before and when you run your hand accross my lower abdomen you can feel the difference. It doesn't hurt or anything and it hasn't bothered me until now. I'm just worried that something is wrong. Any ideas of what it could be?

Angela

TWINS?????? <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/round.gif">

Just kidding....I'm not sure, maybe your just small anyway and the position of your uterus/baby is more obvious. Or, maybe you've always been a little lop-sided and never noticed it before!???

Good Luck ! Hope someone can find the answer for you.

Re: Bigger lower left side of abdomen

I've always been a little overweight and had a bigger lower abdomen so I don't know if it's too early for the uterus to be coming out of the pubic bone region. Maybe my uterus is positioned farther left and the baby is on the left hand side? I'm not sure either but if anyone else can give me any sort of clue that'd be great!

Re: Bigger lower left side of abdomen

hey! I'm bigger on my left side right at and below my belly button, and have been ever since I started to show. I thought maybe the baby was hanging out over there, but I feel movement lower and toward the middle. I don't know, and haven't asked, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm with you!

Re: Bigger lower left side of abdomen

hey! I'll be 20 weeks on Saturday. Halfway there! I can't believe how fast this has flown by. Like I said, I first noticed the belly thing early, when I first started popping out. DH says it's not noticeable til you really look at it, though. Weird thing is, my left breast it also bigger than my right. I feel so lopsided!!!

Re: Bigger lower left side of abdomen

Oh my goodness, that is so funny. My left nipple is bigger, too. The weird thing is, I'm completely right handed. I'm probably one of the most left side uncooridinated people in the world, so I can't figure it out!
