Hi all, A very long one today
Is it uncommon for people to get morning sickness near the start of their pregnancy? I'll start from the beginning, might help.
Since my last AF, which was about 2 & 1/2 weeks ago, we have been TTC, just about every night Anyway, on Monday morning I woke up feeling nauseous, but after about an hour of being up it went away, it come back in about 1/2 blocks for the rest of the day. Then on Tuesday I started work at 7.30 am, I was feeling nauseous right from the word 'go, I was showering one of the patients, and my back began to feel like it was burning up, like a hot flush, or something, I began to feel light headed, and felt like I was going to vomit, the hot flush went away after about 1/2 hr. I continued feeling sick through out the day. The same with yesterday, wednesday, I woke up feeling sick, it went away after about 1 hour. Then this morning I woke up feeling like I was going to vomit, but I pushed my self to get up and go to the gym, as I was on the bike, I began to get that hot flush again and feel lightheaded. But I kept going. I was only on the bike for 15 mins, so it's not like I should have been hot and tired already. I decided to cut short my gym trip for today. When I got into the change rooms, I sat down, felt like I was going to be sick, and brought up fluid, just into the back of my throat. I had a shower, put my things in the car and went and bought an EPT, on the way to the store I felt really sick as I past the bakery and butcher, now I usually love the smell of hot bread and meat has never had a smell before, but I almost collapsed on the spot, then I was going to buy some of my fav. perfume and the smell of that did the same thing again.
I came home and took the test, it came up neg. But now as I'm sitting typing I can feel my back starting to heat up again.
I haven't ovulated yet this cycle, but I don't really know much about that anyways.
Does this sound like I could be pregnant, or does it just sound like gastro?
Since you had AF 2 wks ago and your test was negative, I would guess a stomach flu. If it persists, check w/your doctor in case it is something needing treatment.

I am planning to make a drs appt for today, though it doesn't 'feel' like a tummy-bug. I have had a lot of gastro in the past, as well as Giardia(sp?) But still, I need to find out.
My cycles are usually about 5 weeks anyway, I can't even get to the pill to regulate it, when I tried I only AFed every other month
I'll try rining the dr again now - Thanx
Those are all symtpoms, but with this developing so early it does sound like it could just be a bug. I hope for you it is the baby bug though!! Take it easy and keep your hopes level until you know for sure. I will pray it is baby for ya!! How did the doc's go??
I went to the drs yesterday and he was sure I was pregnant, we did another urine PT, it came up neg, like I thought, but he was so sure he wanted me to have a blood test, so I had it done, and got the results today - negative
So he thinks it must just be a weird gastro, cause nothing else came up in the blood test.
Anyways, I haven't ovulated yet this cycle so we are definately going to keep trying
Hi
i was just wondering if you already have any other children. Iu know your tests came up neg. But my last child i took 2 tests and they came up neg. I didnt find out 4 sure until i was 3 1/2 months even though i had all the signs.. I was sick from the very start of it for several months..
We are currently trying for our first. Usually a blood test shows acurately if you are pregnant or not. ANyways, I think it must have been a bug, cause the last few mornings I haven't been nauseous like before
Sandrakaye,PLEASE stop yelling. Like one has already said itis hard on the eyes to see someone always typing in all caps. Yelling is typing in all caps like you seem to prefer. It is also considered rude.
Please you dont have to yell to get people to read your posts.
What on earth does "AF" and "TTC" stand for?
Maybe I'm slow, but I don't think so! Can you please say what you mean so we can all understand? I'm sorry I don't speak abbreviations!
I was on here for a couple of days before I understood what things meant
AF=period
TTC=Try to concieve
DF=Dear Fiance
DH=Dear Hubby
MIB=Mother-in-Law
FIB=Father-in-Law
BIB=Brother-in-Law

Sandra, can you tell me please how many days after your AF you took the pregnancy test and if it was urine or blood or you did both of them?
I am also very sick and i had urine test for infections, but it came out clear and my pregnancy tests were negative (urine&blood). Still wondering if it can be...I'm 25 & no childrens.
Thank you!
[This message has been edited by una (edited 11-11-2002).]
Una,a negative blood test means negative. If taken too early it could be wrong but considering you only have to be a week pregnant for it to pick anything up it isnt often that is taken too early.
UNA hello i took 2 tests with mt first son and they were around threemonth of pregnancy they were both the home tests. i have never had a blood test for that but my doc. said they could tell a lot earlier with them and they are more accurate. hope this helps
never thought of having a baby, but since this happend last month, i can not stop thinking.
I wish i am pregnant!
I understand it now...
My fiancé and I agreed to get married after his army service and start TTC.
Not before summer 2003, though
I hardly can wait
