Just got back from the doctor..we have 5 folicles
Hello All!! My nerves are calming down a bit after going to the doc this morning. He said the Clomid worked and I have a total of 5 folicles. The left ovary has 1 that is 16-17mm and the right one has 4 smaller folicles. My doc told me that the left one looks great and I should ovulate in a couple of days (Friday). He said that I should use an ovulation kit to make sure when I do O and I'm supposed to call him on Mon to confirm one way or another. For those of you that have used Clomid and had an u/s before O, I don't have a high risk of Multiples do I? I'm assuming that the one big folicle will take over and that will be it. I was afraid to ask the doc because I would hate for him to think I'm being picky now! But twins......NO.. Don't think that would be very easy for me. Just curious what your thoughts are.

Take whatever comes your way and being on fertility drugs can (not always), but can increase your chances, especially with it also being hereditary.

I took 50mg of chlomid, then we did IUI. I had 2 folicles and they said that 1 was small and probably wouldn't take, but the other would hopefully take....Now here I am 14wks pregnant w/twins!!! I didn't take a big dosage of chlomid, and twins do run in my family so who knows. Good luck....I hope this works for you rather it be 1 or 5 babies.
