Illness and TTC
Does anyone know if a cold or flu effects ones ability to conceive in a given month? The past couple of days I've had a sore throat and general iky feeling (though I'm not running a fever). I'm wondering if this can effect ovulation (I have short cycles so if I'm ovulating it'll be soon)... Anyone know?

I dont know that but I do know that I have a cold or stay sick during my whole PG. weird huh?
thats a good way for my to know myself that I am pg. I get a cold and then I cant seem to knock it.I am 13 weeks now and have been blowing my nose for anout 4 weeks now and look to for several more months now.good luck

Being sick can delay ovulation according to the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". Anything that causes stress on your body can delay ovulation.
