Hi. If your period isn't due til the 20th, maybe you were ovulating when you had the cramps. Some women have cramps when they ovulate. You can have cramps pretty early on in pregnancy, but of course everyone is different. I started having mild cramping, like before my period, probably about 2 weeks after I got pregnant. And I still have them. Good luck,
I got cramps 2 weeks before when my period was supposed to start and I still get them sometimes around the time I should have my period. My doc told me I was having a phantom period. These cramps were never bad just annoying. But I have heard a lot of other women say they had cramps at the begining of their preg. But if you don't know if you are or not then you could be ovulating or getting ready to start.
Smile, life doesn't last that long.
Yes, I had cramps about a week before my period was supposed to come. I found out I was pregnant about 4 days before my period was due. The day my period was due and 2 days following, I had terrible cramps. I just knew I was miscarrying, when all of a sudden they just stopped! I mean dead cold.... I have already had an ultrasound and everything is fine, so I know it its ok... OB said maybe it was just the egg burrowing into my lining and when it was attached well enough, the cramping stopped. I also have terrible cramps with periods anyways, so I may just have sensitive uterus. Maybe you do too?
