Bleeding and Low-Lying Placenta

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and have had 2 bleeding incidents related to a low-lying placenta. I know that there is a good chance that the low-lying placenta will clear up as my uterus expands and that this is common, but the bleeding is unusual. My doctor has asked that I scale down all of my activity - especially walking.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? My doctor is very reassuring, but I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this. Thanks.

Re: Bleeding and Low-Lying Placenta

My friend's sister had this. She was on bedrest, and whenever she got up and moved around a bit the bleeding would start again. She has a healthy boy now.
