Take Robitussin and Get Pregnant?

Someone told me about this. She and a friend both took Robitussin everyday for a month and got pregnant. She tried a bunch of fertility stuff and this worked best, in her opinion. I just found a fertility website that said this is true. Has anyone tried this? Does it work?

We don't have kids yet, but I figure we would keep this in mind when we start trying.

Re: Take Robitussin and Get Pregnant?

You are sopposed to take it everyday a week before you ovulate. Then after you ovulate, you dont take it again until your next cycle.

Re: Take Robitussin and Get Pregnant?

I've been ttc for five months now with no luck It's soo frustrating because it's become more like a chore now. have sex, put pillow under butt, wait till the end of the month and find out i'm not pregnant. I just read this post about robitussin and am going to give it a go. Hope it works.
Fingerscrossed, you can find out more about robitusson on this link http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/cm.html
Hope it answers your questions

Re: Take Robitussin and Get Pregnant?

It makes it easier for sperm to swim in cervical mucous. You cant just take any kind of robitussin. It has to be the one that has only guaifen (probably spelled wrong) as the active ingrediant.
