Re: July/August Ladies............Are you there?

Hey I am here today!! Like always Mon-Fri. Man I tell ya I could eat a whole jar of pickles RIGHT NOW!!
My appt went good yesterday and for a long time he could not find the heartbeat . So I lay there preparing myself scared that my 3 1/2 year old next to me will freak! Finally way down at the top of my pubic region he gets it! Hey kid move up so the doctor doesn't have to VIOLATE ME gosh darn it!! So I hear it, but it still made me worry because it was so so so faint, but still fast. He guessed it to be 140 or so (guessing games I don't like Mr. I get paid a lot to do this!!). I had to get all the info out of him it seemed like, but hey I am not too worried. I just wished I could have really heard it and not just a faint whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh. Literally I got to hear it like four quick seconds....how nice. I am going to just say that it is fortunate that he/she is alive and well. I am good for an u/s anytime between the 1st and 15th of MArch he said so I gotta go schedule that right now!! SEE YA!!

Re: July/August Ladies............Are you there?

Hey there ladies!!

Newlittlemomma - Sorry you got more confused with the old wives tale that I posted. I know it all can get very confusing! It's not all that accurate usually anyway.

Marie - I posted in another thread and asked how your appt. went and I see you did at least get to hear the beat for four seconds! That's at least something and you know there is one there! Our babies like to run away don't they from that doppler! I bet you are getting pretty excited for your little blessing's next picture day, huh?!!!! I know I have to wait until I am 21 wks. My doc doesn't like to do it sooner, but that's o.k. I think I can wait, maybe.

We started trying to get the room set up for the baby. It is nice it actually almost looks like a baby's room!! We can't spend a whole lot of money, so I just put up some posters, but it still looks kinda cute. So far all we bought is a bouncer, snugli, and a little gym for 0-24 months.

Anyone get stuff already? We are hoping to get stuff from our family who recently had little ones and don't need a lot of the infant stuff anymore.

God Bless,
Angel

Won't set up anything until the baby could survive outside the womb. I could never come home to a nursey set up that would remain empty for all time if something, God forbid, happened.

Re: July/August Ladies............Are you there?

Hello ladies
Angelhansen--i have to wait for my week #21 too, some docs don't do u/s's like others do. i knew someone who got one just to confirm they were pg. Luckily I only have to wait 2wks and 2 days(feb.26) to see the lil bugger. thanks again for the wives tales they were still fun to read, i hadn't heard alot of them.
How is everyone feeling today? Do any of you think my energy will return when the sun will stay out longer. this weather is not vert motivational.
