spotting

Hi...sorry for asking a question I know is probably asked every day:
I have taken a home preg. test that came up positive - I am spotting today - brownish colour. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Re: spotting

I spotted brown with two of my pregnancies. I was told it was old blood and not to worry unless it was bright red and/or alot of blood. Also if severe cramping(everything turned out fine). Had a miscarriage once too and believe me you'll know it. Call your doctor if it will ease your mind, thats what he's there for. Good luck.

Re: spotting

I have heard the same thing..as long as it is brown it is old blood. My mom always says that if the blood is bright red it is fresh and then you should worry. Also if you don't have any cramping it is probably ok. I agree with everything Sweetie said!
