Not usually but it can happen to some women.

There women who will get what seems to be a period when they are pregnant. My SIL's mother got her "period" through her pregnancy with my SIL. She didnt think she was pregnant until about her fifth or six month. Then it was her doctor who told she was pregnant. Come to find out with her family it is actually quite common. My SIL got lucky with her first pregnancy and hasnt had to deal with that little problem.

I think im pregnant. But, I was late this month. I still got my period. But heavy and lots of cramps. Could I be pregnant?

There is always a chance of pregnancy if you are sexually active. If it isnt like your usual period then taking a test would be your best bet or go see your doctor.
