Well, after the constant thoughts about the pregnancy being ectopic, it seems that it is doing ok, and the Dr. said it didn't look as it was in the tubes!! But here is my question... keep reading...
Thanksgiving - negitive result
Dec 18th positive, but very light, hcg was so low they couldn't say +/-
Dec24th- no sign of pregnancy (ultrasound result)
The following friday my hcg was +3,000
Then today 1/3/02 the ob/gyn said I was about 6 to 6 1/2 weeks??? I'm a little confused, on how it could be 6 weeks, if I was negitive 4-5 weeks ago?? I'm trying to decide on when I would have it because we are also moving in july, and I don't really want to be going into labor during a move lol. Please help if you can it would be greatly appriciated (sp?)
when i took my first ept it was negative, I just knew it was wrong, then i took it again 2 weeks later and there it was...a very faint positive line and was 5 weeks. My ultrasound confirmed it to be 5 wks but couldn't see a HB, however the next week had another Ultrasound done and there it was the little HB. Good luck and hopefully that helps. Their calculation is probably accurate and they should have given you a due date.
Maybe you can get out of having to help move.. <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif">
If you are 6 1/2 weeks along, then you wouldn't even have conceived the baby yet at 4 or 5 weeks ago. Usually doctors go by your last menstrual period date to estimate how far along you are. I conceived on Dec. 10th (I think) but I am considered 5 + weeks. It is confusing and I don't think all doctors go by this calculation method. So if the doc says you are about 6 1/2 weeks, you probably got pregnant right around the beginning of December. Good luck, and if you are about 6 1/2 weeks, then your baby will probably be born late August. I hope this helps.
