Re: magnets during prgnancy
from what i've heard it's just a precautionary measure to not use magnets during pregnancy, meaning they have no idea what magnets might do to a baby. just like it's precautionary to not do a lot of things during pregnancy (like don't drink too much coffee and don't ride horses... silly example, but the only one i can come up with right now). i think that 15 minutes of exposure to magnets will not hurt your baby in the slightest. and besides, they do occasionally perform MRI's (magnetic resonance imaging) on pregnant women if the need arises, and they believe it is fairly safe. and the magnets they use in those machines can pull paper clips out of a doctor's pocket from across the room (some interesting articles online about that). those little magnets in the heating pad probably aren't very strong. and you only had them on there for 15 minutes. and your baby is completely formed already. so if i were you i would mention it to my doctor, relax, and give that heating pad back!
