I haven't been online for 3 days. I have been without electricity for 2 days. I have been going crazy wondering how everyone is doing.
We got hit with a terrible flood and ice storm. The snow was right above us. I would have rather had snow. At least you can play in that. Other than cabin fever, I am still doing good. I almost had a wreck this morning coming into work because of black ice. That scared me really bad. All I could think about was I could have lost the baby. I had to really calm myself down.
Oh...I am glad you are ok! I have been hearing here in Chicago how bad the east coast has been slammed with winter weather woes! Please be extra careful driving home! Good luck...oh for the greens of spring!
I'm in Ohio - we had about 2 feet of snow. <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif"> I love snow! We haven't had this much in about 7 years. But this is the kind of snow we used to have when I was a kid.
Ah…I wish it could be 80º with 2 feet of snow though. I'm not fond of the cold. But it seems you have to have cold weather to have snow. I am ready for spring, but then I hate all the rain and then summer is great but it gets to hot and then fall - that's my favorite.

I'm in Alabama, and the weather here has been crazy!! It was 60 degrees all weekend then it started to rain, and rain, and rain, and rain. We have had alot of flooding here, too. Yesterday the temp dropped to below freezing and we actually got a little snow last night. It didn't stick, though, because fortunately, it never got cold enought for the water on the ground to freeze, or we'd be in bad shape. But it's really really wet and cold. We could go swimming in my backyard right now!
And of course up here in B.C. Canada it's raining!Our daughter had an audition for huggies but the directors were snowed in New york and couldn't make it up here!!!It was snowing when I went into labor up here 5yrs ago.
I think we are suppose to get more rain too. The water is out of the roads now, but it is still really out of the banks. I creasted last night at 7 feet above flood stage. If we get hit that hard again this weekend I am going to have to invest in a boat.
The schools have had so many snow days and rain days this year that they will probably have to miss spring break to make them up. That will not go over well.
