I am 4 weeks pregnant after having a miscarriage in December. I am feeling absolutely no symptoms at all and I am concerned because I felt nothing with the last pregnancy also. I have had a beta drawn, but I am on a military installation in Germany and it takes a few days to get the results back. If there is anyone out there that had no symptoms and a successful pregnancy please let me know. My ob won't do a vaginal ultrasound for at least another 2 weeks because he says there won't be anything visible. Thanks for your time.
HEY, HANG IN THERE Army Wife!!! I got pregnant with my first daughter 2 WEEKS after a miscarriage, and she is JUST FINE. (gonna be 7 this month!!) I didn't really have many sympotms but to be touched made my skin crawl. (weird, huh??)and I felt like I was gonna HURL every time i moved!! LOL!! try to just hang tight and keep up your daily routine!!! Don't forget that at 4 weeks your body hardly has had TIME to have any sympotms!!! it might just take longer! AND this might be an easy pregnancy!! GOOD LUCK!!! Cindy
Many women don't have symptoms until a bit farther along. Some say the 6 week mark is when the nausea starts. Are you 4 weeks from conception, or 4 weeks from LMP? Anyway, don't worry. Remember that one miscarriage doesn't have any bearing on another one (unless there is a maternal infection or disease or something like that). Each pregnancy is different. I am pregnant after having a M/C last year in June, and this one is going fine so far. I know how you feel, worrying like you are. Just hang in there and listen to your body. Many women don't have symptoms until later. Usually the first is breast tenderness. For me it was hot feet in the middle of the night. I knew I was pregnant because this has happened all 3 of my pregnancies. Weird, I know, but for me it was a clue. I hope all works out well for you. Good luck.
when i was pregnant with my second daughter, i felt no symptoms for weeks, having gotten pregnant after a tramatic event. but just as i thought i would be blessed with a perfect pregnancy, there came the morning sickness, etc. give it a few more weeks and good luck to you! kim.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I too had no symptoms for quite a while with this pregnancy. After having 3 previous miscarraiges (also where I felt nothing and had to have my beta tested, which ended up dropping to 0 each time) I was more than concerned. I remained concerned until...ahh...well - a few weeks ago. I'm 6 months now and pretty sure this little guy is gonna make it.
I know there's nothing we can say to ease your worries, but do know that your pregnancy can be just fine without symptoms. You'll be complaining soon enough when the morning sickness won't quit.
Congrats again to you and best of luck!
Congrats on your baby!! I know with my son I didn't get sick until my 3rd month!! But I stayed sick until my 6th!! Ackk!! This time I was sick at 5 weeks and still going strong at 10 weeks. Hang in there! I know it is hard to trust your body after such and awful ordeal but try to stay calm..for the babies sake. Take the lack of symptoms as a good thing..they will surely come with time!!

Congrats on your pregnancy! I too had a miscarriage last May, and then got pregnant again in the end of June. I am now 4 weeks from my due date ,and everything has went fine. I never had a bit of morning sickness, or tender breasts...nothing. I was so sure I WASNT pregnant that I did 4 HPT's before I believed it! ( and even then I had to hear it form the doctor to make me rest easier!) So just relax and let things run its course, I know it seems hard to do right now, and especially after a miscarriage...but it will all work out just fine! Goodluck!

Thanks for all your responses. I have had my first Beta and it was 98 (13 DPO). I have had two more drawn since, but am still waiting the results (military clinic overseas). I have some symptoms now, although not too many. I don't think I will relax until I have seen a heartbeat.
I understand waiting for the heartbeat. I wouldn't even admit to myself that there was a baby in my tummy until I saw that beautiful little heart beating away. Hang in there. I am praying everything will go well. When is your due date?? I have already been given 2..from my u/s they said Oct. 4 and by my last period they say Sept. 29. I know my baby will come at 38 weeks either way. Do you have any other kids or is this your first?? I am on my second. My son is 6 1/2 months old. Well...Good Luck!!

1st - Daughter now 7
2nd - Miscarriage
3rd - Daughter now 3
4th - Miscarriage
It seems weird that I have a miscarriage in between my healthy pregnancies, but docs say it is just bad luck. I even thought that perhaps I couldn't carry male fetus's, but doc says that is crazy.
I have gotten 2 more Betas since my last post, they are:
13/14 DPO = 98
15/16 DPO = 223
18/19 DPO = 703
I had my last test today and should get the results tomorrow. I am hoping this means that everything is okay. Thanks for all your concern.
Congrats!!
The only symptoms I ever had during my 3 successful pregnancies was aching breasts for the first week or two and peeing a lot. I never got sick. I felt fine!
My sense of smell increased towards the middle of the pregnancy( the smell of hamburger cooking gagged me) but other than that, I was symptom free. My children were and still are fine. Good luck hun!!
I couldn't imagine 5. I would wonder about the male thing too. My hubby seems to not be able to give me a girl so far...even though both of our families are mostly girls. I am the oldest of 8..2 boys the rest are girls..my hubby is the second of 4 and he is the only boy. They say genetics play a huge role in getting a male or female I'm not sure if that is true!!
