Hi everyone. I was just wondering when you guys felt movement for the first time. With my daughter I felt it around 4 months I think. They say the second baby is usually felt earlier. It's just that I keep feeling little things (probably gas), but I'm wondering if it could be the fetus. I'm only 12 weeks. Has anyone else felt the fetus this early? I'm probably getting my hopes up, but I just thought I'd ask. Thanks,
I felt my first son at 18 weeks, my second son at 10 weeks. My mother didn't believe me though, said it was gas, but I'm positive that's what I was feeling. I probably would have felt my first son earlier if I had known what to look for.
I felt my first at 14 weeks and wasn't sure what it really was...being my first and all. This second one is way to early to feel..somewhere between 7 and 9 weeks..so I haven't felt him/her yet!!
I felt movement at 10 weeks, but i'm also about 4 months and haven't felt anything since then, just waiting.... my mom told me that she only felt movement once or twice, I'm hopeing I feel more then that!
Isn't this the craziest!! We all wait breathlessly for that first kick and by the end of the 7th month we are screaming for it to stop!! LOL!! Even crazier..after I had my son I kinda missed those familiar kicks!!

Yes! I remember my daughter at about 8 months, her foot or hand would press so hard against my upper ribcage. It killed!! I am really looking forward to that! (HA!) I am pretty sure I felt the fetus today. It feels like a slight tickle. I know it's not gas anymore, but it could be a muscle twitch.
A couple of months ago I was agonizing about the kicking, now the baby is so big I can identify her feet. She has gone from kicking to jamming her limbs into all parts of me-my sides, my ribs, anywhere she can get them. And she does it all the time! She is definately a mover, I wonder when the heck she sleeps. If I wake up at 4 am, she starts squirming, and she squirms at midnight, 9pm, all day long, and all morning. I hope I dont have a terror on my hands!
Have ya'll noticed that some things will put the baby to sleep?? Everytime I would go on a car ride or take a bath when I was preg. with my son he would stop kicking and be SO still. And when I sang Dixie Chicks. To this day those are the 3 things that will put him to sleep! Be careful what you do when preg. you may do it for a long time after the baby is born just to get some sleep!!! Wait a minute! What is sleep?? I have a 6 month old who is teething..getting 2 teeth at once...I never sleep!! Oh yeah..sleep was something I did in my old life...now I remember that great luxury where you lay in a bed for 5-9 hours at a time uninterrupted!! I can't wait to experience that again!!

My daughter used to wake up at least 7 times during the night to nurse. She finally started sleeping through the night when she was about 20 months. I pray this baby has my husband's sleeping patterns. But I've already kissed off having a good night sleep for about the next 3 or 4 years just in case. I think we'll try a little harder with the "crying it out" method. It just didn't work for us with our daughter, but I think I can be a bit more patient with this one.

With my second pregnancy I felt movement that early or earlier. With my first ultrasound I found out why...twins! Maybe you have more than one?! Good luck!
I think I'm nuts, cuz I read all these posts about how much a baby moves, and how frustrating it is for the mom... And I can't wait for it lol!!
Today was my 21st birthday and all I really wanted was just a little movement, but I guess what I want and what I get are two different things lol! Then again, the night is not over lol
