Re: when to have a baby shower???

Hi Alazay

From my experience- the showers are usually when the mother is 8-9 months pregnant. I guess it depends on if the shower is from family or co-workers. If it is a work shower we usually wait until the mother's last day at work. I am invited to a shower in April and the mother had the baby in Jan. I would rather have it before the baby is born.

Re: when to have a baby shower???

Well I had planned mine for Jun 29th, and my 1st DD was July 12, but I knew it was wrong....

My new DD is Aug 23rd, and my shower is the end of June, that way, if the baby is early, I'll have stuff. But I had to try to plan stuff around a move and College, so it all depends on what you'll be doing, I'm glad it's a month before the baby, that way you can per-fect things before your angel gets here.

Also give your self time to register and a few weeks for people to shop for gifts.
