I need advice....

Okay, heres the deal. I had some mild cramping Wednesday and Thursday. My period was due yesterday. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning with the 1st mornings urine and it was negative. I dont feel like I am going to start. I dont have cramps or anything. My boobs arent even sore anymore, but still enlarged a little. Has anyone tested the day they were suppose to start and it was neg and then find out later they actually were pregnant? and what about the no sore boobs anymore thing? anyone had them be sore and then it went away after a week and they were still pregnant.
I've never missed a period in my life. Ive been late but I had pms symptoms even though I was late. I wish I knew whats going on.!!!
Any words of wisdom?

Re: I need advice....

Hi there

It took me about four or five days after my period was due to get my "for certain" positive pregnancy line. Mind you, that was after I found a HPT that tested for HCG at a lower level (25 mIU). Before that I had tried Equate which was a BFN, and Clear Blue Easy which would only give me faint, faint lines. To get my positive result I used the Confirm test.

Everyone's different, so what you're experiencing may or may not be pregnancy symptoms. I haven't had sore breasts at all during my pregnancy. The main thing I noticed was that my nipples started to get really large. The big thing for me was major trips to the bathroom! I know a lot of women experience sore breats when they're pregnant, so all I could remember thinking when I was trying to conceive was "Oh no! We didn't conceive, my boobs don't hurt!" LOL. I guess I can say I've been pretty luck with my pregnancy so far. I'm 16 weeks along, and haven't had any morning sickness either - just a little nausea which is cured with a little lemonade and crackers.

I would say wait a couple of days and try again if your period still doesn't show up. Sometimes stressing can cause a major delay.

Good luck to you! Keep us posted!

Re: I need advice....

Umm, I have noticed to get a positive test I had to wait 5 days after my period was due and I took the Fact Plus test...not the stick...for some reason I can't make those work!! I use the little square one and you tinkle in the cup and use the bulb thingy to drop a few drops in the test. This one gave me the quickest positive and the clearest. Those dumb sticks were just too complicated for me I guess!! LOL!! And I never had sore boobs..just nipples the size of pancakes and the color of brown lipstick...I'm pale white so it looked really funny!!

Smile, life doesn't last that long.
