It took me about four or five days after my period was due to get my "for certain" positive pregnancy line. Mind you, that was after I found a HPT that tested for HCG at a lower level (25 mIU). Before that I had tried Equate which was a BFN, and Clear Blue Easy which would only give me faint, faint lines. To get my positive result I used the Confirm test.
Everyone's different, so what you're experiencing may or may not be pregnancy symptoms. I haven't had sore breasts at all during my pregnancy. The main thing I noticed was that my nipples started to get really large. The big thing for me was major trips to the bathroom! I know a lot of women experience sore breats when they're pregnant, so all I could remember thinking when I was trying to conceive was "Oh no! We didn't conceive, my boobs don't hurt!" LOL. I guess I can say I've been pretty luck with my pregnancy so far. I'm 16 weeks along, and haven't had any morning sickness either - just a little nausea which is cured with a little lemonade and crackers. <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">
I would say wait a couple of days and try again if your period still doesn't show up. Sometimes stressing can cause a major delay.
