if you are pregnant but not sure yet. is it ok to take hot baths at night or could that cause a miscarriage. i know when you're further along you can't get into hot tubs or take really hot baths but would it matter in the very beggining like 3-5wks?
I know they say that men should avoid hot baths for fertility reasons. here is a website about hot baths and early pregnancy

My doc told me hot baths were fine as long as you didn't spend too long in it. I did cool down the water a little b/c the hot water can cause spine bifida(sp?) But the warm relaxing bath is great for a preg. woman especially at the end. When I was in labor they put me in a whirlpool to help labor. So water can be a good thing. Just pay close attention to the water temp!
