July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

Hey all,

Just wondering how everyone is today? Haven't seen a lot of you on here yet, so time for a roll call!!

Have you been having more of the lovely ligament pain? I had it pretty good yesterday! Fortunately it just comes and goes and doesn't stick around very long so I know it's normal.

Was stressing pretty good about my baby's health because I have been letting my mind freak out, but fortunately I have been feeling my little miracle quite a bit today!!!

Marie - How are you doing? Are you still stressed out about your little miracle's health or are you doing better?

God Bless,
Angel

Re: July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

Hi,

Im doing okay. Starting to feel my little guy move quit a bit too.

I haven't paid too much attention to movement untill lately because even when Im not pregnant I feel a baby move if I pay enough attention (If that makes sense....)

We spent the day looking at minivans. Don't have much choice anymore, with a third baby coming we are going to have to bite the bullet and get one!

Well, hope all you ladies are feeling good.

Re: July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

Well I am still worried, but I am pretty grounded when I am worried and have a good way of keeping myself level headed. So I am well. Ligament pain is definitly an issue now when I walk only. Okay and since that is like a main thing for someone without a car I think I am doing quite well. Bought maternity clothes yesterday and it thrilled me! Thank you Target for your lovely sale! I got 5 shirts, 1 pair of pants and a pair of capris/flood pants which ever. Both pants have no panels thank the Lord!! I hate those!! I do have jeans and capris already from last time so that is good. I am normally a Large/X-Large, but for some reason the pants fit great and are a Medium!! I love them, but I did spend way too much and so I will just try to look cute and keep the cost to myself from DF....ha ha!

Re: July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

Hey there,

Glad you two are doing well!!

Coppertop - Today I actually got a couple of "bumps"!! Oooh there was another, yeah!!! I think I understand what you mean about "feeling the baby" even when you are not especially since you've had children before. I will probably be that way too the next time I get pg.

Marie - Sorry to hear your pain is getting to be a big nuisance with all the walking you have to do. It's nice to have maternity clothes isn't it? Even if you have to keep the amount to yourself! LOL I understand doing that all too well. Your next appt. isn't until March, is it (your next baby's picture day)? Have you talked to your doc about your concerns?

God Bless,
Angel

Hey! My kiddo is a mover. There is very little down time. He/she is moving constantly, especially when I wear some of my pants that are getting a little tight. How cute is that? Though it's very reassuring to know my baby's healthy, it worries me that I may have a hyperactive child. I could swear that it's doing somersaults in there!!! The newest thing is this tickley sensation that seems to happen constantly. Anyone had that yet?

Re: July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

oh yeah! I forgot to mention the back pain. My lower back aches now towards the end of the day. I've been having to use a heating pad in bed every night, but it seems to help alot. Also, I have being having a weird pain if I stand to long that I think may be a nerve. it's in my pelvis and seems to run down into my hip and leg a little bit. It's like an achey, burning pain, and when I sit down, I feel the tingly thing like your foot's been asleep, then it feels better. That's why I think it's a nerve. Anyone know?

Hi, mommies/ daddies!

I am newish to this board. It is interesting to hear from you who are in the same general place as I am. Hope you are all well.

I am 17 weeks- due July 30th. How cool that some of you feel your babies move. I haven't yet- or maybe I have and just don't know it. What does it feel like? I have also been having some of that pain around mu low abdomen. Ouch!

I enjoyed taking my baby into the crazy snowstorm today. Me and my little belly just flopped right in the deep deep snow. Fun!

Anyway, nice to meet you all.

Welcome Janetp!!!! Glad to have you join us!!! I get to add another to the edd list, yeah!!!

Well with my little one's movements - it feels like butterflies a lot and once and awhile I do get a slight bump, but I really have to be paying attention to feel it and notice it. Don't worry because pretty soon probably around 20 wks you will start to get movements that you will know are movements for sure!

Siren - I think I understand what you mean by a "tickling". I think I have been getting that a few times today when my little one moves. I don't think you will have a hyperactive child, but I guess we will wait and see, huh?!

God bless,

Hey Siren,

About the standing too long - I think if you use something to elevate your one foot it might help. I will try to find the article I read the other day and let you know. I get a lot of pain too when I stand too long, but other than that my back has been pretty good to me, so far.

God bless,

Re: July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

I haven't felt the babies move yet, but I was overweight before I got pregnant, and this is my 1st pregnancy.

The diabetes diet didn't work, my doctor put me on insulin shots...1 a day. Their not so bad. They don't hurt, just makes me worry about the babies. If we don't get the diabetes under control, the babies could get really big to fast, then my body thinks they are big enough and thinks it is time to have them. But I have a great doctor that is watching me closely.

Hope ya'll are all doing good. I think I had a huge growth spurt this past week.

Have ya'll been feeling any pressure. In the past week it seems like I have had alot of pressure down low...like something is trying to push out..I talked to one of my friends that just had a baby not long ago and she said she did the same thing. I go back to the doctor next Monday so I guess I will just ask him to make sure.

Miranda,
Are your babies heartbeats really different or pretty close? Im just pretty curious about what it would be like to have twins. Did you have a feeling that you were having twins before you found out? I hope everything is going okay for you, most likely you and your doctors can keep your blood sugar under control and things will be fine

Hows everyone doing today? Im feeling okay, ever since I started walking again I feel so much more energetic. I even got out my sewing machine yesterday to make a curtains!

Im wondering if anyone else wears contacts and notices that their eyes are more sensitive? I used to be able to wear my disposables for two months, now they hurt after a few weeks.

Re: July/August Momma's or Fathers.....:)

Hey Coppertop,

Glad to hear you are feeling better!! Yeah exercise does make a big difference doesn't it? Walking is my favorite and about the only thing I do anymore. I don't wear contacts, but I do have glasses for work with my computer, reading, close things and it is harder for me to focus anymore with them. I am not sure if it is all pregnancy related or just my eyes or changing and this prescription doesn't work so well anymore.

How's your sleeping been? Mine hasn't been too bad until last night. I don't know why, but my shoulder blades felt like they were being ripped apart. I have been better and not slouching so much and really focusing to push them back, so I don't quite get it. Our shoulders don't change during pregnancy, just our ribs right that expand. It was quite an experience I hope not to go through again!

Anyway enough complaining, overall I am doing better but noticing definite limitations as far as how much I can do in a certain time before I have to relax again. But last night my wonderful dh vacuumed and folded his clothes!!!

Well have a great day!!!

God Bless,
Angel
