The Baby Story on tlc

Does anyone else here watch shows on tv that are geared towards births and pregnancy? Well I have always watched them even before I started ttc. Well my husband is giving me a hard time about watching them. He said I was becoming "psycho and obsessed". I couldnt believe it! hahaah. Does anyone elses husband give them a hard time or whine because they are watching it? or am I the only one?

Re: The Baby Story on tlc

Hi again - it's me Lori. I watch the baby story all the time. My husband has not said anything about me watching it. he doesn't want to watch it because he thinks the birth process looks gross( oh great!) I don't think you are obsessive with watching that show you just want to be educated so you know what to expect. I have been reading so much about pregnancy now that we are planning. I also know that it will happen when it is the right time. even though I want it to happen right away.
have a good weekend ( are you still planning on being the designated driver??)
p.s I am now on day 32 of my irregular cycle- not sure if this will be a good sign

Lori,
yeah, me too. I've read everything I can too about pregnancy. yes I am going to be a designated driver tomorrow. I might still take a pregnancy test in the morning, but regardless, I wont be drinking tomorrow just in case. When are you going to test and how many dpo are you?

Re: The Baby Story on tlc

How funny!! I just finished watching the last Baby Story of the day. Being newly laid off, I spend my days watching all 4 Baby Story shows each day. Pathetic? Maybe. My husband doesn't bother me about watching so often. He's just as curious as I am about other couples' experiences with pregnancy and childbirth, so he watches right along with me with his eyes open wide. Although he's also a fan of the Maternity Ward show on Discovery Channel and I just can't stomach that one.
Keep watching and nevermind our other halves. We're keeping ourselves educated and informed.

Best Wishes,
Andrea

Re: The Baby Story on tlc

Hello again
i am not sure how many dpo I am because my cycles are not too regular since I went off the pill. I missed my period in Decemember and then got it Jan 8. I am not even sure if I ovulated this month because I did not notice the "slippery egg whites" as they say. but we have been trying anyway. I told my hubby you have to do it every other day so you don't miss ovulation.

That is good that you are driving this weekend just to be safe. I have not had a drink since New Year's and I am surprised nobody has said anything since I keep turning down drinks.

Have fun this weekend
Lori
