Talking my c - section

First of all- HI! My name is Anna and I am 23. My husband and I have 2 kids. Avery is our daughter and she is two. Our son Ian is 10 days old. Both of them were born by c-section. My daughter was b/c my labor failed to progress and she was a big baby. My son was b/c he was bigger than my daughter. I really did not want c-sections with either child but I had to do what was safer. I'm here to answer any questions about my pregnancies, labor and the c-sections. ( or anything else) I love visiting this site and decided to finally post to give anyone some help as reading your posts have helped me with my last pregnancy. Please ask anything! I wish the best to you all!!!

Hi, and welcome to the board! This site has helped me tremendously too.... I had a quick question. Did you breastfeed? I have heard that breastfeeding after a cesarean was difficult for a number of reasons, but I really do want to give it a try. (I may have to have one if my stinker doesn't flip over in the next few weeks.) If you have any experience with that, I'd love to hear it!

I breastfed my baby after a c-section and I didn't have any trouble at all. I only needed a pillow on my lap for about a week to help support baby and cushion the weight of him..he was a big boy! So I wouldn't let having a c-section discourage you, it's really no problem at all and I had plenty of milk just like I did for my first baby who was a vaginal birth.
