Okay, I joined this site a few days ago because my period was late and since I go tanning I was concerned if it was harmful to continue if I was pregnant. As time went by I never got my period and I took my test and 9:15 tonight and IM PREGNANT. Unfortunately, Im only 18, but this baby is a blessing
Hi, Congrats on your pregnancy!!! So exciting. I have two kids, and they are the best thing that has happened to me. I would advice you not to continue tanning. Your body temp is not suppose to go up to high when you are pregnant. I know I tanned in between my pregnancy's but I would stop. Better to be safe. I wish you the best. If you consider your baby a blessing, then it is not necessarily unfortunate that you are only 18. I was "only" 19 when I became pregnant with my first child - who was planned - and I do not consider that I was too young ... it just depends on the woman

I wouldnt if I were you ... it is not good for the baby if your body temp raises, and tanning will cause that to happen. (Same reason you should immediately be seen by a doc if you have a fever of 100 or higher, and why you should not go hot tubbing or take hot baths in the first 2 terms.)

Have you told your family? and the dad? are you still together? sorry just curious.
