I just got home a few minutes ago from my appointment. And the lady who gave me my appointment last month messed something up and they didnt have me scheduled for an ultrasound at all! BF and I were soooo disapointed! both him and my mom went with me because they wanted to see, and all she did was check the heartbeat for like 10 seconds, and they were in a big hurry to get out of there because i was their last appointment for the day. So she made me an ultrasound appointment next week as soon as they could, which is next thursday the 8th in the afternoon.

maybe there was a reason why i didnt have it today.. i haven't felt much movement today at all so maybe the baby was in a bad position and i wouldn't have been able to tell if it was a girl or boy (i desprately want to know!!) so i guess there was a reason why i didnt have it today. So now i have another week to wait anxiously for (i had a countdown going for today).

i was really grumpy afterwards, and my BF told me this one simpsons episode (the simpsons are his favorite tv show of all time.. he has me tape them for him if hes at work), where marge has an ultrasound when she's pregnant with Bart. and bart sticks his butt up on the picture. and the doctor says "hey if i didn't know any better i swear he's mooning us!!" and that made me laugh and then my mom treated us both to rita's water ice.

oh yes and another thing that made me feel better is coming online and seeing that someone asked me about my ultrasound! that was so thoughful! thanks lovelyme!!!

Tiff-Tiff..sorry they messed up your appointment. I would be upset too. I know how the big u/s countdown goes so I am praying for a fast week for you.
I saw that episode of the Simpsons also...it was hilarious.

9/19 It's a Boy

Tiff,

I'm sorry to hear about your mix up. The same thing happened to me yesterday...I called my OB office to see how much water I needed to drink before my appt. on 5/12. The receptionist told me that I was only scheduled for a check-up. I explained how I was supposed to have my 20 week u/s that day, and she said.."I'm sorry, we don't have you scheduled for that."

I was so MAD! Come to find out, "I" was suppose to schedule my appt. myself down in Radiology (I guess they don't do the 20 wk u/s in my OB office.) Anyhoo, we got it all straightend out and they scheulded me an u/s that day before my check up. I would have been so bummed if things had been screwed up because my DH, and my parents are both taking the morning off of work to go with me.

Your right though, maybe there is a reason why it didn't work out yesterday. Your baby might have been in an uncooperative mood. The 8th is right around the corner.
