Question 11 weeks pregnant and having a brownish discharge?

I am about 11 weeks pregnant with my second child and I noticed this morning I had a clear to brownish discharge. I'm not having any pain or anything just the discharge but as of yet it has only happened once. I don't remember having this with my first one but that was almost 8 years ago too. I don't know if this will have anything to do with it but I had sex yesterday morning?! Anyone else have this? Or is there a problem? Calling the doctor as soon as they open.

From what I have heard, brown discharge/blood means old blood...so you should be fine. However, still def. check with your doctor to be on the safe side.

Sounds normal to me though.

HI! IF YOU HAD SEX YESTERDAY,YOU PROBABLY
"DISLODGED" AN OLD POCKET OF BLOOD. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS REALLY GROSS, BUT IT HAPPENS. I STILL WOULD CALL YOUR DR. BUT I FIGURE THAT'S WHAT THEY WILL TELL YOU.

I HOPE YOU FIND OUT GOOD NEWS. GOOD LUCK.

Hi.
Having brownish discharge is really quiet common. You should still call your dr. just to let them know. My dr. told me that you should be concerned with spotting only when it is red/pink because those indicate fresh blood but brown indicates old blood that your body is getting rid of. I would try not to worry too much as this happens to alot of people. Hope this helps and hope things are okay.

Take Care

I agree with Jmpoplin,

Whenever DH and I BD, I usually have that brown discharge afterwards as well. It always goes away though within a day or two.

(forgot to mention that in my first post)
