 Labor, or Not??
Im 38 5/7 wks pregnant. Last checkup was this past Wednesday....after an whole night of excrutiating pains and nausea FROM the pain, I thought SURELY I had dilated, or SOMETHING...towards the delivery. My dr said I was closed tight, and the only thing I was experiencing was "Braxto Hicks"; Ok, but, the same pains keep coming:
It starts between 10 and 11pm, and goes until around 5am. sickening labor pains from the lower back that wrap to the front, and radiate down my legs. Each one gets harder and harder-and i think "OK this is it". Somewhere between 3am and 5am I find a way to fall asleep...only to wake up with the pain completely gone.
Last night was the worst,however; This time there was more severe cramping, and sharp stabbing pains "up there". My husband insisted I go to the hospital...for the millionth time...I said NO (IM on a first name basis with the nurses in L&D now). This morning I still had pain, and some nausea...and I was completely wiped out.
Is this STILL Braxton Hicks, my imagination, or am I actually in the early stages of labor and i need to get ready?
