Post keep the light on when you go to the bathroom

This may sound wierd, and you may already do it, but when I woke up this morning to go to the bathroom and take my shower (5:00), I discovered I was bleeding. I panicked and called the emergency exchange at my OB's office. When he asked how long I had been bleeding I felt dumb - I said I don't know because I don't turn the lights on when I get up to go during the night. I will from now on though! Anyway, I'll be going into the office today to get checked out. It's probably due to the fact I was going up and down stairs alot carrying things yesterday trying to get ready for our garage sale this weekend - hopefully that's the problem.

Another good reason to turn the light on is so you don't fall in. I went to go pee this morning at about 2:30, sat down, and almost fell in. DH didn't put the toilet seat down. Boy did he get an ear full when he got home from work this morning. LOL.

Hi, good advice! I just wanted to say that i started bleeding at 33 weeks with my first daughter, I think i lost my mucus plug, and luckily she held out until 38 weeks with bed rest and meds so I hope all is well for you! I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully you have nothing more than that to worry about! Good Luck
