Yep - I got blue veins too something to do with blood volume increasing perhaps - and nearly 3 months after giving birth I still have them. It took some getting use to - thought I looked like an illustration of the circulatory system in some text book.
Hello! yes those veins sure pop out when pg. I feel like a road map or something. Although I donot have them on my tummy I have them on my breast. It takes some getting use to but you will adapt sooner or later, our bodies do alot of strange things during pregnancy. Ladies watch out for that hair growing in all these strange places, my husband calls me his little hobitt.(ha!ha!)
wow, thanks you guys for all your replies. I took a test a couple of days ago (neg) and am trying VERY hard to wait till next week to re-test. It is really freaky to look at, they look like branches coming down the sides of my stomach!
I had those veins really bad on my boobs! Had to ask the doctor at my 6 week appointment. They were there even before I got a positive test!! Good luck.

Yep, I looked in the mirror last night and with some good light, I too could see the blue veins on my tummy! Wow, all the changes we go through - it's amazing. I'm nearly 22 weeks and keep getting more and more surprises from my body all the time LOL!
