Okay I know that in the last few weeks during pregnancy it is normal to have a discharge that gets thicker, but is it normal for it to be a little clumpy with a sort of cream color to it.(almost like a real pale yellowish color)? Also I have to take the strep B test soon , will they be able to do that with all the discharge?
I believe it's normal. I just had my strep B test, and have had very bad discharge, of course I cleaned up before I got it done, but I tested positive for it, so I hope that has nothing to do with it. Anyways, hope someone else can help ease your mind as well.
EDD with baby #1 for hubby and I September 21st, 2003! It's A BOY!
When I had that color discharge, a tannish, yellowish sometimes, sometimes just cream colored, I was losing my mucus plug, but I didn't have my son for about 3 weeks while that was going on. Just make sure to take a very detailed shower before you go to the doc.. they swab around your.. buttocks. But, the discharge could very well be the beginning of the loss of the mucus plug which can come out in chunks or just like normal discharge.
