Hi, my period is 4 days late and me and my b/f took a test last night and it was -, but it was cheap and generic and also I took it at night and I had just peed only about an hour before. I should have known better. I have cramps, I've had them for 5 or 6 days now, but no period. I'm also tired and my breasts are just a little tender and they feel heavy. Last time I felt this way I was pregnant, but I tested when I was 3 days late and it was +. So if I was, the test should have been + right?? I'm confused. I feel pregnant, but the test said no. Has this happened to anyone else? Were you pregnant or not? Any replies are apprecaited. Thanks!!

that is what happened to me with my last pregnancy. the test did not show + for about two weeks. just be patient and take another test in about a week.

Thanks for the reply. I'm still late (5 days now). And I'm not feeling well. I decided to wait several more days and take another test. If I am, hopefully the next one will be right.

cheap generic tests i think are no good, i used either 3 or 4 store brand tests, two days later we went to Sams Club and bought a pack of three E.P.T tests, went home and it came up positive, but they do say to give your body between 10 and 14 days for the hormone hcg(???) hct, hgc, somethin like that

to show up in your urine.. best of wishes
