Red face I am scared!

Hey you guys. I am at my 16th week and I am still not showing! Some days I swear that my stomach is huge, but then it doesn't look that way the next day. I am confused. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I heard that the more pregnancies, the earlier you show.....help ease my mind...please.

They do say normally each time you get pg. you will show faster but thats not for everyone. Maybe this baby will not be as big or you have not gained as much weight so far as with your last baby.
Im sure everything is fine with my second child who is now 13 months I didnt show for a long time. everything was fine.

Saraanne-

I don't know if what I say will help, but I hope so. First of all, each pregnancy is different. Even if, generally, a woman will show faster with each pregnancy, it doesn't mean it is a RULE. You know what I mean?

Have you expressed your concern to your doctor? Has your doctor expressed any concern? I think everything will be fine. Like the above poster said, perhaps this baby of yours will be smaller than your other children. I don't think that 16 weeks is TOO far into the pregnancy where you should be so concerned, but that is my opinion. If you still feel this way, talk to your doctor. Are you eating enough calories?

I just want to say that I think you and your sweet joy will be fine! Take care!

I know a woman who was in a biracial relationship and didn't want her father to know she was pregnant. She is tall and very thin. She wore sweat pants and shirts and actually hid her first pregnancy until she delivered! If I remember correctly her baby was on the small side between 6 and 7 pounds but healthy. She carried the next three the same way. At eight and nine months she looked like I did at 5 months. My first was 9 1/2 pounds. I bet soon enough you begin to show like crazy. Maybe this means you'll bounce back to your pre-pregnacy shape easier and faster!
Good luck!
