Has anybody ever have brown blood at 13 weeks. I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a teeny bit of brown blood, but now it is gone. Is this normal??? Are m/c fairly rare after the first trimenster.
I have heard as long as it is brown blood it is okay, but just call your doctor just to ease your mind. Also, I know after you hear the heartbeat, your risk of m/c drops to 2% or 3% I believe. Let us know what the doctor says.

Hello! Some times if you have intercourse it can irratate the cervix and cause this type of bleeding. I would call the doc and see what he recommends. I donot know what the chances of miscarriage are at this stage but I have read alot of post here where the women were 12-14 weeks when they miscarried, so I am unsure. Try not to worry and call your doctor ok. I hope that everthing is ok keep us informed. Take Care
Hi, I had a miscarriage last sept./oct. I was 5 and a half weeks along. I had a blighted Ovum. I then had gotten pregnant 6 weeks later and I had some brown staining. Brown means old blood. It's very common. BUT do consult your physician to ease your mind and to rule anything out! Good Luck and Congrats.
