Post HPT

Hi Guys,
I had a missed miscarriage and had to have a D&C on 19th August. I then had a positive ovulation test on 30th August. I tried a HPT yesterday (11th September) and it was negative.
Do you think that I tried to test too soon or do you think that it was probably correct.
Obviously I have not had a normal period since the miscarriage - but we both feel that it is right for us to try straight away. Would really value your advice.

I say wait until at least Sunday and retest. I had a miscarriage at the end of Sept. and I had gotten my first period on Nov. 2nd I then had ended my period on Nov. 8th and had intercourse every night for a week. a Week later I tested positive. I took a First Reponse Early Response, you can take the test up to 4 days before your period is due.

Good Luck,

A + opk doesnt mean that is the day you ovulated. OPKs only test for the LH surge that occurs about 2 days before one actually ovulates.
In other words yes you could have tested to early.
