Question What are the chances?
Hi

I was wondering that if a husband and wife both have shortsightedness (distant objects appear blurred), what are the chances that their baby would have the shortsightedness problem?

Thanks for any inputs.

You won't know for sure. Those might be recessive traits & he might be born the complete opposite with 20/20 vision. If its something hereditory, chances are high.
But from what I see, its 40% yes, 60% no.

I don't know the chances, but for what it's worth, both my parents are short-sighted, and all four of us kids are too.
