Long story short, I contacted a pregnancy hotline that consists of experts. Based on information they have, they said there have been a total of 60 pregnancies reported where women have taken the drug and had normal pregnancies, 10 of which were in the first trimester. Also, after 24 hours the drug is half as potent as the day before. They told me the babies organs don't start to form until two weeks after conception, so anything taken prior to that is already out of your system before the vital organs are formed. They told me that there is no research to indicate birth defects in humans, although a lot of animal studies have reported multiple birth defects. But she said it's better to rely on the information available regarding humans. I also did some research that said the amounts injected into the rats were at a way higher dose than administered to humans. All and all, I think we should both be fine. Best of luck to you!!
