I have not experienced pounding heart that I recall. I have experienced fatigue early on, but that seems to improve as your body adjusts to the drug and is not uncommon with many pharmaceuticals. I have not tried other alpha blockers due to cost, Flowmax seems to be significantly more affordable under my medical plan.
