Blood Trace in Urine - Prostatitis?
Experiencing symptons of a urinary infection. My doctor did a urinalysis which showed a trace of blood in the urine. It was sent out to a lab for further testing, but came back negative for infection. Could prostatitis cause blood in the urine without the associated signs of an infection in the lab test?

Yes, very possibly. There are a couple different types of Prostatitis. One will show an infection present and the other will not and will cause more of an enlargement then anything. Certain reports say Saw Palmetto taken daily and a small amount of Zinc ( 30-50mg) seem to help many men in controling Prostate problems.
