A few weeks ago I began having various symptoms that indicated Prostatitis. I have an appointment with a Urologist next week.

I started with on and off pain from my rectum to penis. Burning with urination and discomfort when starting or stopping a urine stream. I have most of the symptoms listed for Prostatitis. A few days ago I started getting aches in my hips and could not lift my left leg. My hip and muscles in that area are sore. I get some relief after soaking in a hot bath. Advil does nothing for the pain. Today I felt slightly lightheaded and while I do have some arthritis in my hands today I have severe pain in my right hand. I did read that Prostatitis can effect the hips but I wonder if it also effects joints in general or that my hand pain is coincidental. Comments appreciated, thanks.
