I'm 23 and have been experiencing prostatitis flare ups for over 2 years now. Generally I experience aching right underneath in my perineum and sometimes soreness which often comes the morning after ejaculation (not every time though).

I've been on various antibiotics and have been seeing a urologist - next appointment in December. A long period of ciprofloxacin last month was the most successful of the tablets I've tried so far, it barely hurt whilst on them.

My ex girlfriend used to give me a long massage right on my perineum after we had sex, she was really understanding and this did seem to help.

I wonder if anyone has experienced this helping also? And if there is anywhere I could go to see someone professional who would massage this area properly as well as lower back and the associated aching areas?

You can buy special tool for massaging your prostate from withinside your butt - they are suprisingly effective, not too expensive, and dont worry, it wont make you gay.

You can perform prostate massage each day in the privacy of your own home.

I think he's talking about the Aneros. Just do a search. There are several models. And like he said it doesn't make you gay.
