So my dad ordered me this treatment kit for psoriasis, but I have acne...
If you don't know, it is similar to acne. I'm 16, male.
My dad thought it would help my acne (must have been doing some research) and the lady on the phone told him that it may help it, but not much. I was kind of wondeirng why he would have bought it, since it's NOT for acne.
But, now after I look at the ingredients, it could DEFINITELY help.
It comes in four parts: a body wash, a spray, a cream, and an oral supplement. The body wash contains Salicylic Acid 3%. The spray contains Pryithone Zinc .25%. The cream contains Salicylic Acid 2%, and I don't think I'll take the pill until I get some opinions.
Now, I'm thinking of trying it on my body first then MAYBE on my face. I just need some opinions. There IS a possiblity it could help, right? I think my dad heard it from someone (not just the lady on the phone) and it comes with a money-back guarentee. Should I try it?

Most of that stuff is just over the counter acne stuff...Salicylic acid and what-not. The spray that contains the zinc sounds really interesting. I never thought of puting zinc on your face topically.
I would say go for it. It couldn't really hurt right? And if it does, just stop.

Zinc has been used with some success as a topical application. Some argue that a zinc defficiency can contribute to acne but I personally never noticed any improvement when I experimented with taking it orally.

hi - did you try this yet? it sounds like he's trying to help. if it's guaranteed, i say give it a whirl, but maybe not on your face. have you tried the proactive stuff? i'm not recommending it, i have a friend (age 21) who didn't like it, but found something much easier on her face and less expensive. i think acne is quite different from psoriasis. who knows, maybe he heard someone's sales pitch and it convinced him. like i said, at least he's trying. but it's your face!

I just put the zinc spray on, and it didn't sting at all. I expected some kind of drying or something, but then I remembered it was Zinc.
Anyways, I need to wait an hour to put the cream on (which contains the salyitic acid). And tomarrow I'll be using the body wash. (which also has the acid)

Interesting... Does this mean I can use SA on my Psoriasis on my legs? I don't really understand this. I think there are a few different types of Psoriasis. I know mine is just extrememly dry , red spots that I can't get to go away for anything. I would think SA would just make it worse. LoL... i'm a bit off topic but at the same time on topic here. Anyone know anything about this?
And it does sound like it will help with your acne. Especially body acne. I want some!

Wow, after just one night, it hasn't done anything for my acne (which is expected, I'll stick with it for awhile though) it cleared my Ecszema with just two uses.
I can't belive this stuff, it's great. I wish I could post the link.

A few prescription medications work for both acne and psoriasis. I use Tazorac right now, which is highly recommended for both. Keep it up, you never know right?
