| Psoriasis
Hi,
I have psoriasis in small patches - on my knee, elbow, a couple on my lower back and other smaller patches here and there. I can just about cope with this, but my scalp is driving me MAD! It started basically with just 2 patches, but now has just got worse and worse. The itching is a nightmare. I have been prescribed a Betnovate liquid for my scalp, and I also use a shampoo that is meant to help. For the rest of my body I have a Betnovate ointment and a Dovonex (? have I remembered that correctly?!) ointment for my knee.
None of this is working and I intend to go back to my doctor as it's getting worse and worse, and like I said my scalp is driving me crazy. I've also 4 small patches on my face - it, at the moment just looks like I have a bad complexion but I hate seeing my face in the mirror at the moment.
I wondered if anyone has any experience of any alternative treatment such as acupuncture?? Or any other advice really?
