It is the same for me, I am 19 and I have it, but my 17 year old brother doesnt (yet), but no-one else in my family has it...
I am sorry if you feel anxious about your baby having it, but I wouold like to think that it wouldnt, I think the psoriasis comes about from stress and other things relating to it, and there has been a lot of that for me, that I wont go into now...but try to keep positive, I dont even think this is a hereditory thing, just very unlucky for some people to be diagnosed with it...
Hi
I have psoraisis, but my brother and parents both dont have it, however my mom's brother does, so I dont think that your baby will definently have it if your boyfriend does.

Depending on the type of psoriasis it generally skips a generation. I have severe guttate psoriasis, so bad that I was a case study in S. California in 2003, I have 3 GORGEOUS daughters and not one of them has shown any signs of having it. Even if the possibility exists, you should still have a baby, I can guarentee you that if he or she does have psoriasis, you will educate yourself and do all that you can to control it. It isn't fatal and I have a fabulous life.... Best of luck!
I have psoriasis, acne and no one in my family does, not even my siblings who share most of my DNA. I was just blessed with wonderful skin.
But like someone said it is not fatal, and most of the time with dedication you can control it by moisturizing and using some products. I don't think the chances are too high.
