Unhappy 'psoriasis' TRIGGERED by the sun? Anyone else know this?

Hi, i got really sunburnt about 15 months ago in Spain. I had a really bad rash which the doctors wrongly diagnosed as sunburn and then psoriasis. It cleared up after 3 months. Then i got a different rash after a day in the sun, under my arms, groin, arms, which lasted two months. i used dovenex but it had no effect for 3 months, im sure it should start working before this.
Then after a spell of being in the sun in thailand and wearing factor 30, i had no problems.
Now, back in england, i got some sun exposure and have it all over my arms and legs, some on my torso. Ive been using the new dovenex stuff called, Silkis for nearly a month and no effects.
Im wondering if this is even psoriasis, although the doctors all say it is, and that the sun helps it (not with me!)
i saw a poor dermatologist and she was useless. maybe i need to see a good one. Anyone who can relate to this? Please let me know of any help, reccomendations etc, thanks, Liam

I always thought of psoriasis as dry patches of skin, sometimes flakey.
What you are describing, a rash when skin is exposed to the sun; sounds like maybe you are having an allergic reaction to the sun. The SPF helped? Keep up with it. Want color to your skin, lotions may be your best bet.
Stay out of the sun if it bothers your skin. My opinion.
