Psoriasis and irrational conduct - Psoriasis Message Board

Hi Folks,

With a subject header like that, the last thing I want to do is to upset any psoriaisis sufferer reading this board!

However I have been subjected to irrational outbursts by a woman suffering from this complaint. I am just enquiring into any possible connection, apart from having a bad day because her skin is bleeding, then taking it out on me!

Hi! I have Psoriasis, have had it for about 6 years now, although it is not as bad as when I first came down with it. I know I can be a hot head, I can get mad and act like a nut, as my daughter will say!
I really don't think there is a connection to her actions from her skin. She may be mad that she has this chronic disease, it does affect you to a degree. I mean I would be so un happy, oh poor me, stuff like that, but mostly it was towards myself. I just don't think having Psoriasis causes irrational outbursts in itself. She might just be using that as an excuse. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Summerblue. Maybe she has bipolar disorder and doesn't know it. Again, I'm not knocking other sufferers, but she says all sorts of good things about her attitude to other people, then acts like a rat!
